Product Description
Influential scholar Peter L. Berger reveals five signs that point to the supernatural and its place in a modern secular society

Acclaimed scholar and sociologist Peter L. Berger examines religion in twentieth-century Western society, exploring the social nature of knowledge and its effect on religious belief. Using five signs evident in ordinary life—order, play, hope, damnation, and humor—Berger calls for a rediscovery of the supernatural as a crucial, rich dimension of humanity.

Conceived as a response to his influential book The Sacred Canopy, Berger eschews technical jargon and speaks directly and systematically to those, like himself, who wish to explore religious questions.

Product Description
From biblical times to the present, mankind has been fascinated by angels. In music, art, theater, and film, angels have enriched our lives and lifted our spirits with messages of faith, hope, and love. Science has never been able to prove their existence. It is only through personal accounts of real-life angel encounters that we may learn the true meaning of this timeless phenomenon...

Author Kelsy Tyler experienced her first angel encounter several years ago. A camp counselor told her a strange true story that intrigued her so much, she began to wonder: Did God really use angels to minister to those who believed in Him? Soon, she began to hear more accounts of modern-day miracles...Tales of heavenly messengers offering words of comfort and hope...Harrowing accounts of impossible rescues by mysterious saviors...Heartwarming visitations by people who dit not, and could not exist...These stories of ordinary people touched by extraordinary events will enlighten, entertain, provoke, and inspire you. But most of all, they will make you believe...

Product Description
Charismatic Spirituality is a carefully written explanation of the way the Holy Spirit works in redeeming human beings. The author, using the study of Scripture and many years of pastoral experience, describes how the Spirit operates in the Church and the individual to provide the full benefits of the divine life God intended human beings to enjoy. Although interest in charismatic spirituality was spurred by the charismatic renewal movement, Clark's exploration of the work of the Spirit addresses the needs and concerns of the Church at large and will satisfy the curiosity of any interested reader.
